Your connection to the co-op
Bluebonnet's community representatives connect us to the areas we serve — our members, local business leaders and elected officials.
Our five community and development services representatives each oversee specific counties within Bluebonnet's service area.
The core responsibilities of the community representatives include:
- Providing basic information about Bluebonnet services, programs, activities, regulations, rates and fees
- Responding to member inquiries and referring individuals to the appropriate Bluebonnet department or personnel for assistance
- Representing the cooperative on local committees and task forces, attending community events and delivering presentations to civic groups

In that job, he had oversight of renewable energy resources for Bluebonnet members as well as the planning of new power line construction. Before that he was the cooperative’s community and development services representative for the Brenham area. He is involved with the Boys & Girls Club of Washington County, Leadership Burleson County, Camp for All Camp Friends, Animal Shelter Task Force, Association of Rural Communities in Texas and the A.W. Tim joined Bluebonnet in 2015. He’s not new to Manor, however. He grew up there before leaving to play professional baseball for the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. He worked 21 years with KST Electric, a commercial and industrial electrical company in Manor. Tim is still active in athletics, playing fast-pitch softball and helping out with his daughter’s volleyball team. He is involved with the Manor and Elgin chambers of commerce and the Manor Education Foundation.
